Greetings to you all... ...from sunny Sussex. We
can't use our hosepipes to water the garden but all this sunshine is
very good for the morale and for the flowers. It is good to have some
time off before a very busy post-Easter time, with concerts in
Strasbourg, Valladolid and Marrakech, as well as Leeds, Glyndebourne,.
Eastbourne and Cambridge- every programme is different so there is
rather a lot of word-learning to do. The neighbours are getting used to
me sitting in the garden talking to myself. Sometimes I long for the
days when I did a run of an opera and could sing the same thing over and
over again, but I suppose this keeps my brain active!
